لیست دیتابیس های علمی به تفکیک رشته یا زمینه موضوعی

برای اداره دنیای مدرن امروز بیش از ۵۰۰۰ تخصص پیش بینی شده که بسیاری از آنها جنبه میان رشته ای داشته و یافتن مرز مشخص تفکیک بین آنها و رشته های مجاور عملا ممکن نیست. بسیاری از پایگاههای آنلاین نیز به لحاظ موضوعی به این صورت می باشند. یک مطالعه آماری نشان داده است که در چند دانشگاه دولتی داخلی بیشترین پایگاه مورد استفاده ScienceDirect بوده است. به گونه ای که اغلب محققین توانسته اند با بسنده کردن به آن بدون جستجوی دیگر سایتها تحقیق خود را کامل کنند. بهرحال در کنار این سایت که مجلات معتبر Elsevier را نمایه کرده همواره پایگاههای مهم دیگر نیز وجود دارند که مرور آنها خالی از لطف نیست. چه بسا در مواردی جستجوی آنها نتایج بهتری را نیز بدهد
